Is Your Blog Failing?

If you have a Blog that is not producing the results you want or getting steady, consistent traffic growth, please take a moment to read the following:
"…most bloggers simply never develop much traffic, even though they may write a lot of content. Why? Wrong process. No tools. No guidance. It’s a shame that they quit though."
"Abandoned blogs are epidemic. Millions and millions of them, inactive."
"Is your blog failing? Low traffic? Low income? Frustrated and thinking of letting it go? Don’t!
Never quit a project just because you’re frustrated. Hares get frustrated and flit from one thing to the next. But tortoises find one solid road and just keep moving ahead, one step at a time.
Switch to SBI!, a proven road that leads to business success. After all, you didn’t fail. The inherent flaws in the process doomed you."

I have a an SBI website that I started in March 2006 and a stand-alone blog that I started in April 2006. The website currently receives over 1100 visitor per day and makes a very nice income. The blog gets maybe 40 visitors a day and makes around $25/month in income. (I honestly don’t know why I keep going with the blog – I keep thinking about "letting it go" and I probably should.)
As I have written before, SBI is the answer for many who want to build an online business, which includes a website that generates passive income.
It’s Never Too Late to Start Over

I have spent the last month or so revamping two of my sites. They are both sites that have been up over a year, but have never received a great deal of focus. I knew I wanted to do them, so I went ahead and started them so they could begin "the aging process".
After a complete review of the sites, I came to the conclusion that it is a miracle (and a complete testament to Site Build It! (SBI!) and long-tail keywords) that each site is currently receiving around 100 visitors a day! They aren’t breaking any records, but they are at least paying for themselves.
I started analyzing each site by looking at the keywords. (One of the great things about SBI! is that all of the keyword tools are built in – you don’t have to go searching all over for them or trying to figure them out for yourself.) It is so funny to me now that with each site I had the exact same initial reaction – that it was hopeless – there was nothing I could do and I should just forget about the sites. On each site, I came back the next day, used one of my favorite free tools (FreeMind – free mind mapping software ) and ended up with an awesome plan that I am really excited about!
The first site I did was my Trendy Plus Size Clothes site. I have begun to excute my plan by adding more pages and in just a month my traffic has gone from around 100/day to up to 143/day.
My point? One of the most wonderful things about having an online business is that it really is never too late to start over. No matter how good or how poor your site may be doing you can always step back, regroup and move forward. If you are using a great tool like SBI! (and following the directions!) you will never get so far off course that you can’t get back on track.
My Most Important Tool for Building Online Businesses

While I am not among the "rich and famous" (yet) by any stretch of the imagination, I have had more success than most building online businesses and I currently earn more than the "average American worker" with my websites. I am successful enough that when people I know find out how well I am doing, they want to know more! More importantly, I think, is that I am an "average person" who is working hard to figure it all out and build a better life for myself and my family.
Out of all that I have done and tried and learned and succeeded with and failed with, there is one tool and one tool only that I can contribute to my success. That tool is Site Build It! (SBI!) . Site Build It is a company that is built to help average people build successful online businesses. It includes everything you need to know and do and it is broken down in a series of simple steps. SIte Build It is the "anti-get rich quick" plan – you build a solid business step by step. I use a lot of tools now and I have websites that aren’t SBI! sites (including this one), but I would not have this site, or any of the other ones, without SBI.
I will be writing more about my individual sites and the other tools I use and more about SBI – but I want to lay the ground work – that without SBI I would not be here. If you are considering building an online business, or you aren’t satisfied with your current results, I ask you to at least take a look at Site Build It!
So is this site going to be a nonstop promotion for Site Build It? In some ways yes, because I do consider it the foundation to my success and future. But more importantly, it is about what one person has done with Site Build It and what I have learned along the way.
How I Got Here….

This site is about my successes, failures and lessons learned while starting and growing my online businesses. I guess I should start off with my story up until today (hopefully the Reader’s Digest version).
My online adventure started on March 4, 2006 when I entered my credit card info at Site Build It! (SBI!) and purchased my first website. It actually started way before that because one of the main goals of my life has been to be completely self-employed. Through the years I have tried many different things – I even supported my family via eBay for 3 years (more about that in a minute), but I had never found what it was I was "meant" to do – although I knew I was somehow "meant" to be self-employed, otherwise I would not desire it so strongly.
I have been a Registered Nurse for 24 years (half my life – you do the math) and have had a very successful career. For the last 18 years I have been in management and leadership, and today I have a great job and earn a great salary. But my one burning goal is to replace that great salary being self-employed and to have the FREEDOM to do my on thing. For me it is all about FREEDOM – the freedom to do my own thing, alone the way I want to do it. My life is really awesome right now, but it wasn’t always that way.
In late 2000 I had been happily married to my college sweetheart for 19 years, we had a perfect 6 year old daughter, we both had successful careers and we were happily pursuing the American Dream. In one instant our lives changed forever. Two days after my husband’s 43 birthday he had a massive cerebral hemorrhage (stroke) and was left with huge physical, emotional and mental disabilities. He died 6 days shy of the 5th anniversary of his stroke. Those 5 years were the hardest of my life. In an instant I lost my best friend and husband and was left with a completely disabled husband and daughter to completely take of and support. During that time I gave up my career so I could be at home to take care of my family and worked from home (eBaying) for 3 years. Making your living on eBay is very hard work, but I loved the freedom and being at home with my family. The thing I didn’t have was financial freedom and it was a constant financial struggle. I had gone back to work 3 months before my husband passed away and was enjoying a regular paycheck more than I was missing my freedom. But within just a few months I was yearning to be on my own again. I knew I didn’t want to go the eBay route so I started to investigate other ways to earn a living online. I have written the story of how I found SBI and my experience in starting my first website here – so I won’t repeat it again.
After I started my first website I knew almost immediately that this is what I was "meant" to do – I always thought I had a unique set of skills, talents and abilities and wondered how in the world I would ever use them together – I found out when I started building my Mineral Makeup site.
So here I am almost 2 1/2 years later. I now have 5 SBI websites and several other projects in development. In the last 2 1/2 years I met and married the man of my dreams (I honestly didn’t think I would ever even have a serious relationship, much less remarry) and we bought our dream home. I am so happy and my life is so wonderful that if this is as good as it gets, I am blessed and grateful. But my primary goal in life is to replace my salary with income from my websites so that we may truly live the life of our dreams. Today I am halfway there and I am more determined and motivated than ever for this to happen as soon as possible! Part of my plan to take my businesses to the next level is this site – it will serve as the "mother ship" for all of my businesses – and I hope along the way I can meet new friends and share all that I have learned and am learning with anyone else who goes to work everyday yearning for the freedom to do their own thing.

This is my first post on my new site. I started this site to document my experiences, successes and failures in building an online buisness. My goal is to replace (and exceed) my current salary. For more information, please visit my About page .
I started my first website in March 2006 and currently have 5 sites and several blogs. I am determined to grown these and add more so that I can be self-employed working from home!

Welcome! I am truly blessed to work from home full time on my many websites. This site is the "mothership" that links them all together. This is also where I write about the business of building successful niche websites. I hope I can share what I have learned to help others find the joy and success that I have found. Thanks for visiting! Suzanne Prochaska
